How often should you get a face massage?
You had your first face massage, walked out looking rested and lifted, and a week later you're wondering: was that it? Should you come back next week, next month, or only before a wedding? It's one of the questions we hear most, along with "how long do face massage results last?"
The honest answer: it depends on what you want. But there is a simple rule that works for most faces.
Why one session isn't enough
- Muscles have memory. Tension that built up over years comes back if you release it only once. Regular work teaches the muscles a new habit.
- Toning takes repetition. Like any workout, a lifting effect builds over several sessions, not one.
- Drainage is short-term. The depuffing effect of a single session is visible straight away, but daily life (salt, screens, short nights) brings puffiness back.
- Skin renews in cycles. Better circulation helps skin look fresher, and the effect adds up when it's regular.
Which goal is yours?
- "I want to look rested for an event." One session 1–3 days before is enough.
- "I want a visible lifting effect." Start a course: one session a week.
- "I want to keep my results." After a course, come back for maintenance every few weeks.
- "I just want to relax." Come whenever you need it. Your face will thank you either way.
What you can do between sessions
- Do a 2-minute self-massage each evening: upward and outward strokes, then down the neck.
- Lips together, teeth apart: check your jaw a few times a day.
- Keep your phone at eye level to protect your neck.
- Drink water, sleep, and wear SPF every day.
How a course of facial lifting massage works
Our facial lifting massage works the muscles of the face, neck, shoulders and scalp for a natural lifting effect without injections. This is the rhythm we usually suggest:
- Start with a first session to see how your face responds. It costs €30.
- Then a course of weekly sessions, 5 or 10 depending on your goal. Most clients see the face look more toned and less puffy as the course goes on.
- Then maintenance, with sessions every few weeks to keep the result. Your therapist will set the rhythm for your face.
Why weekly? Close enough for the muscles to "remember" the work, far enough apart to fit real life. And because every face is different, your therapist may suggest adjusting the plan along the way.

FAQ
How long do face massage results last? The fresh, depuffed look of one session is visible right away and usually lasts a few days. With a full course and regular maintenance, the effect lasts much longer.
Can I have a face massage every day? At home, a gentle 2-minute self-massage every day is great. In the studio, once a week is enough for a course.
Should I choose 5 or 10 sessions? Five is a good start if you want to try a course. Ten suits a clear lifting goal. Your therapist can advise after the first session.
Who should wait? After a recent surgical facelift, less than 5 weeks after Botox or fillers, with inflamed skin, a rash or an allergy, or with a fever or a contagious illness.
